The resort features a variety of dining options, including upscale restaurants and a vibrant casino floor, ensuring a lively atmosphere for both guests and staff.
As a member of our Public Area department, you will benefit from numerous perks, including complimentary meals during shifts, a smoke-free workplace, subsidized transportation, and generous tuition reimbursement opportunities. We pride ourselves on fostering a modern and fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of 5-8 housekeeping staff members.
- Manage performance evaluations, including coaching, recognition, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain open communication with department leadership.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring processes for team members.
- Ensure cleanliness of all public areas, including gaming floors and dining spaces.
- Perform various cleaning tasks such as scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Assign tasks to team members and monitor completion to meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and supplies in restrooms.
- Dispose of waste from all areas of the property.
- Report maintenance issues to management.
- Assist other departments with cleaning duties as required.
- Deliver exceptional guest service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping and supervisory roles is preferred.
- Must possess a friendly demeanor and be a team player.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Able to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capability to lift heavy items and perform various physical tasks.
- Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
