Surveillance Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

As a Surveillance Agent I at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa, you will be responsible for maintaining surveillance watch in all areas and activities, recording any irregular activities as required, and video surveillance of the activities of customers and employees in all gaming and money handling areas.

Reporting and Compliance:

You will report any violations of Gaming, company policies and procedures, and any safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Additionally, you will report and offer solutions to any area of vulnerability to loss from internal or external sources.

Requirements:

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Gaming Regulations, company policies and other department procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with department procedures and company policies.
  • Work on special projects as needed assigned by Surveillance Management.
  • Maintain strict confidence regarding company matters.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures regarding customer service standards.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Gaming Casino Surveillance experience preferred (0 to 1 years).
  • Must pass a basic surveillance aptitude test gauging math skill.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of casino games and casino operations preferred.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20 with normal color acuity.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
