Position Overview

MWResource, Inc. is dedicated to supporting clients in the utility sector by delivering essential resources for their ongoing projects and system maintenance. Our expertise lies in control systems, energy management, and market operations.

We are seeking experienced Consultants in Energy and Market Management Systems (EMMS) to offer application and interface support to Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) and Independent System Operators (ISOs) throughout the United States and Canada. The selected consultant will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, validation, and implementation of enhancements and modifications to EMMS.

Key Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with Energy and Market Management Systems
  • Proficiency in the design, development, and testing of EMMS as well as Web/Client server applications and interfaces
  • Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing EMMS applications
  • Familiarity with real-time power systems applications such as State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Forecasting, and Load Frequency Control
  • Knowledge of code building, patch implementation, and migrations within the EMMS framework
  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and data conversion processes
