Position Overview

The MRO Assembler within the Repair Cell Department plays a crucial role in the operational success of the company by executing assembly, inspection, painting, and testing of various fractional horsepower fans, blowers, and modules. This includes performing wiring connections and assembling both electrical and mechanical subcomponents.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble final products, including fans, blowers, and modules, utilizing electrical and mechanical subcomponents in accordance with technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Conduct a diverse range of assembly tasks, which may involve operating equipment for mechanical subcomponent assembly, magnetizing, soldering wires and components, and performing encapsulation and inspection of parts.
  • Interpret technical drawings and engage in discussions for process improvements with relevant technical support teams, such as Process Engineering and Quality Assurance.
  • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve departmental challenges.
  • Utilize basic measuring tools (e.g., rulers, calipers) to ensure precision in part measurements, applying basic math skills as necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and attendance.
  • Document work performed and any defects identified during the assembly process.
  • Execute product and performance testing, ensuring accurate recording of results.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the tasks performed.
  • Contribute to both individual and team success, working overtime as needed and undertaking additional related tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience through on-the-job training.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of repetitive bending, squatting, and twisting motions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
