We are seeking enthusiastic and diligent individuals to join our production team and contribute to the magic we create.
Role Summary:
The Event Production Specialist plays a vital role in the assembly, installation, and dismantling of various production elements, including light sculptures and interactive displays. Key responsibilities include:
- Executing technical installations of production features under the guidance of the Production Supervisor.
- Conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installations and lighting systems throughout the operational season.
- Preparing and managing inventory of production materials and assets.
- Supporting the Production Supervisor with various production-related tasks.
- Researching new technologies and designing innovative production elements as directed.
- Assisting the build/event team as needed when not engaged in priority production tasks.
- Working with diverse materials such as wood, plastics, snow, and ice.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, with hours spanning from the beginning of the setup season to the end of the operational season. Overtime may be required during peak periods.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Positive demeanor and a willingness to learn.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in construction (electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc.).
- Familiarity with power and cutting tools.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits.
- Experience with 3D printing and/or CAD software.
- Familiarity with addressable LED lighting.
- Experience in audio system setup and installation.
- Customer service experience.
Compensation:
Starting pay is $20 per hour, with on-the-job training provided.
