Overview:
As a Software Build Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our Mobile Continuous Integration (CI) systems. We are looking for talented and dedicated engineers who are passionate about optimizing build systems and collaborating closely with Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure reliable and high-quality software delivery through our CI pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a continuous integration strategy for Mobile and Web Applications across iOS and Android platforms.
- Manage build processes and environments for both iOS and Android applications.
- Collaborate with the tools development team to ensure seamless CI/CD operations for mobile and web teams.
- Support and maintain our CI and source control systems.
- Work alongside engineering teams to design sustainable deployment packaging and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build-related issues.
- Contribute to enhancing the CI/CD workflow for mobile and web teams.
- Coordinate with QA teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD framework.
- Develop utilities to facilitate rapid setup of standardized development environments for engineers.
- Provide training and support to mobile and web developers across the organization, enhancing software development and release processes.
- Continuously streamline, optimize, and automate CI/CD processes to improve developer productivity and confidence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Release Engineering, Configuration Engineering, or a related field, along with a bachelor's degree; or 2+ years with a master's degree.
- Proven experience in building, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Shell, or Java.
- Strong command of command-line tools, bash scripting, and build tool management.
- Familiarity with deployment tools like Kubernetes, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Salt.
- Experience with Build Automation tools such as Jenkins, BuildBot, or CruiseControl.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in large-scale operational environments.
- Knowledge of Docker and Maven repositories, including SonarQube, Nexus, and JFrog Artifactory, is advantageous.
- Experience with App Store submissions for Apple or Google is a plus.
- Understanding of code signing processes for iOS mobile applications, including identities and provisioning profiles.
