Job Summary

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres seeks a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and program implementation. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support and ensure the well-being and safety of clients in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily cares, medical needs, and supports, including ADLs and mental health supports.
  • Develop and implement personalized daily routines, promoting choice and creativity.
  • Plan and implement recreation, leisure, and community activities that foster socialization and community engagement.
  • Drive clients to appointments and community activities, ensuring safe transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to HIPAA and MORA policies.
  • Collaborate with the support team to develop and implement goals, ensuring person-centered services.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience working with clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
  • Successful completion of Medication Administration class and regular passing of medications without error.
