Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee and support the entire Primary Care team to guarantee high-quality, integrated healthcare for all patients.
  • Deliver evidence-based primary care directly to patients, adhering to established clinical practices.
  • Ensure that Primary Care staff receive ongoing training and updates on best practices relevant to their roles.
  • Adapt to emerging healthcare trends and explore opportunities for service expansion that align with community needs.
  • Manage population health initiatives within Primary Care.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed.

Operational Standards:

  • Responsible for the recruitment, orientation, evaluation, and potential termination of Nurse Practitioner and RN personnel.
  • Oversee office coverage in Primary Care Departments to maintain accessibility.
  • Ensure all Primary Care facilities meet productivity benchmarks.
  • Manage site-level staffing and patient assignments for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Develop and disseminate evidence-based guidelines across the Primary Care team.
  • Support the organization's pharmacy program and collaborate with contracted pharmacies to optimize practices.
  • Act as a liaison for regulatory compliance related to Primary Care services.
  • Facilitate regular meetings for Nurse Practitioners and site directors.
  • Oversee medication inventory and supply management.

Administrative Duties:

  • Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with the Informatics Team to enhance the use of electronic health records and ensure staff training.
  • Ensure compliance with vaccination programs and oversee related training and audits.
  • Work with the Executive Director to cultivate partnerships that enhance patient services.

Staff Supervision:

  • Directly supervise key staff members, conducting regular performance reviews and reflective supervision sessions.

Financial Oversight:

  • Establish productivity standards in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff on productivity reporting and address any performance issues.
  • Ensure staff are well-versed in billing and coding practices.
  • Engage with payors and represent the organization at relevant meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • 3 to 5 years in a leadership role managing healthcare providers.
  • Experience in federally qualified health centers or community health settings is advantageous.
  • Experience working with underserved populations is preferred.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Current RN and CRNP licenses in Pennsylvania are mandatory.
