About the Position
">This Radiation Therapist II role works under general supervision of the Chief Radiation Therapist to provide radiotherapy treatments as prescribed by physicians to adult and pediatric populations. Key responsibilities include operating complex treatment machines, preparing patients for radiotherapy, administering radiotherapy treatments, and monitoring patient safety. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field and at least five years of progressive experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT).
Requirements and Qualifications
">- Education: Graduate of JCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
- Experience: Five years of progressive experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT)
- Licenses and Certifications: Licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board, BLS certification, and registry exam as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
