Oncology Healthcare Specialist

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Healthcare Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work under general supervision to assist oncology patients, families, and caregivers to overcome healthcare barriers.
The estimated salary for this position is $67,000 - $87,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Job
This part-time position is responsible for conducting ongoing assessments of need and facilitating referrals throughout the oncology continuum of care. The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process and evidence-based knowledge to provide education and resources to facilitate informed decision making by patients and/or their families.

- Conducting ongoing assessments of need and facilitating referrals
- Providing education and resources to patients and their families
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
- Current Texas nursing license
- BLS certification
