**Overview**

Texas Oncology, a leading community oncology provider, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the BMT department at Dallas Medical City. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

**Responsibilities**

We are looking for a skilled RN who can:

  • Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding their current condition and medical history.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating services related to patient care.
  • Provide psychosocial support to patients and families, facilitating communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Triages patient phone calls as needed, documenting relevant information in patient charts.

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited program for professional nursing education.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of RN experience, with oncology experience strongly preferred.
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
