Technical Recruiter
Reports To:
Branch Manager / Recruiting Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrates, facilitates, and executes all stages of the recruitment cycle.
- Partners with sales leadership to craft and refine comprehensive and precise job specifications and selection criteria.
- Discovers and applies effective recruiting techniques and strategies tailored to the specific role, industry benchmarks, and organizational requirements.
- Aids in the job advertising and posting processes.
- Evaluates resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
- Arranges interviews; supervises the preparation of interview questions and other relevant hiring materials.
- Participates in the interview process, engaging in interviews alongside managers and directors.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other HR personnel during the offer stage, advising on salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other relevant details.
- Ensures adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as company policies.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills/Abilities:
- A proactive and hands-on approach to achieving goals.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills complemented by effective negotiation techniques.
- Capability to devise and implement sourcing strategies for diverse recruitment needs.
- Self-motivated and independent, with a strong initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient in or able to quickly learn applicant-tracking systems or other recruitment software.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
