Job Title: Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at CoolSys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations and managing the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create proposals within company guidelines.
  • Update current customers on worker order statuses and document any credits and adjustments to work orders.
  • Oversee work order completion and technicians' workload throughout the day.
  • Interact with vendors and parts department to verify availability of parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm.
  • 3+ years of dispatching or operations experience is preferred.
  • Industry knowledge of HVAC and Refrigeration or similar is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
  • Possess a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and manage conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
