Key Responsibilities
  • Navigate complex sales cycles from start to finish, leveraging internal resources and cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry trends and competitor analysis to position Appian's solutions effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing trusted advisory services and delivering value-driven presentations to LOB and IT audiences.
  • Actively seek to understand industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the market and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • 5-10+ years of direct selling experience, with a minimum of 2 years as an Enterprise Account Executive selling complex technologies at the enterprise level to State, Local, and Education customers.
  • History of consistent quota achievement and examples of landing new customer logos.
  • Strong job tenure, with a history of displaying loyalty and perseverance through long, stable job tenure and positive career trajectory.
