Position Summary:
As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe administration of prescribed medications and treatments. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care and general nursing support to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications in accordance with the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and Treatment Administration Record (TAR).
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of medication supplies and ensure proper storage and documentation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and assistance with meals.
  • Monitor vital signs and document all relevant information accurately.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 month in a similar role.
Certifications: Current Medication Technician certification as per state regulations.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer proficiency.
