Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Market Executive is to cultivate and maintain profitable commercial banking relationships within the designated area. This role involves driving revenue growth through the management of loans, deposits, and fees; evaluating loan requests and their underwriting; ensuring effective management of commercial relationships; and developing annual budgets for the team. An active presence in the marketplace and community involvement are essential for success.

Our Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Team proudly serves local businesses, offering a range of competitive solutions including Commercial Loans, Lines of Credit, Treasury Solutions, Acquisition Financing, Equipment Leasing, Owner-Occupied Commercial Real Estate, Small Business Lending, SBA, and other financing options. Our teams provide innovative and flexible solutions to help small and middle-market businesses achieve their goals.

The Lending Team is organized by region, with a Market Executive leading each team, which includes Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Administrators, and Underwriters. Our lenders possess expertise across various business types, including government contracting, non-profits, educational bond financing, healthcare, and professional services.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 additional years of relevant commercial lending experience.
  • A minimum of ten years in commercial underwriting, portfolio management, and business development.
  • Demonstrated success in a corporate sales environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of C&I, Real Estate, ABL, SBA, and Credit/Special Assets.
  • Proficient understanding of credit principles and loan structuring.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing business financial statements and viability.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Solid grasp of accounting and finance principles.
  • Effective sales, marketing, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership development capabilities.
  • Market awareness and knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred:

  • Accredited Banking School Certification in Lending or a related field.
