Job Description

St. Ambrose University is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Strategist to join our Marketing and Communications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing the university's paid and organic social media content and engagement strategies, growing the university's reputation and brand through various social media channels, and engaging our audiences with creative and impactful content to achieve university goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the university's marketing goals and objectives.
  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience and showcases the university's brand and values.
  • Manage and maintain the university's social media presence across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track engagement, reach, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement social media campaigns that support university initiatives and events.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to ensure the university's social media presence remains relevant and effective.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyze social media metrics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
