At Nexstar Broadcasting, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating advertising revenue by building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed sales goals.
  • Establish and maintain credible relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.
  • Make sales calls on existing and prospective clients to promote television advertising opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients to explain the benefits of advertising with Nexstar Broadcasting.
  • Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media.
  • Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertising schedules and advertisements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to achieve them.
  • Proficiency with computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
