Job Description

Duro-Last is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and launch of a new single-ply roofing membrane. This role will be responsible for defining and executing strategies to provide a complete roof system to a nationwide network of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product launch plan, including selling, marketing, testing, pricing, and training strategies.
  • Provide leadership in the development of a new TPO membrane roof system to complement the current commercial roof system offerings.
  • Define customer targets and develop targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain training tools and train sales organization.
  • Provide forecasting and market analysis and recommend marketing strategies.
  • Execute efforts to develop new products in this category.
  • Maintain and develop promotional product marketing literature.
  • Ensure the system meets code requirements and certifications.
  • Post-launch evaluations and strategies to evolve the full TPO roof system package.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of market developments and marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proven work experience in product management.
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of a successful product throughout a launch to the market.
  • Experience in supporting marketing and communication activities necessary to develop and launch new products.
  • Ability to communicate recommendations to executive management and cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Three to five years of experience in product leadership, marketing, and long-range planning required.
  • Construction or roofing industry experience.
