Job Overview

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our Elevate Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing existing and creating new retail broker relationships, explaining the value proposition of our product, and driving submissions from our retail broker network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop retail broker relationships to drive business growth and revenue
  • Communicate the value proposition of our product to brokers and clients
  • Analyze and review submission information, including preliminary underwriting
  • Negotiate with insurance carrier underwriters to secure favorable terms
  • Develop and maintain proposals and sales-related exhibits
  • Maximize sale probability by leveraging product and distribution
  • Manage day-to-day insurance requests and maintain compliance with carrier requirements and industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Experience in production underwriting, program management, or wholesale brokering (preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of workers compensation and construction underwriting (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Self-direction and ability to take ownership and drive responsibilities to completion
  • Balance between sales drive and technical/underwriting proficiency
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skills
  • Presentation skills (in-person and virtually)
