Job Overview

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a prominent provider of workforce management solutions, dedicated to linking skilled professionals with rewarding career paths. We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator.

Position Summary:

This role is essential for the effective management of outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and promptly while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Ensures all materials are dispatched in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • • Conducts thorough inspections of all shipments for quality and quantity discrepancies, entering relevant data into the company’s business system.
  • • Safely operates equipment such as order pickers and pallet jacks as necessary.
  • • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment in the shipping and receiving areas.
  • • Collaborates effectively with the Accounting, Production, and Customer Service teams.
  • • Adheres to all safety protocols and utilizes personal protective equipment as required.
  • • Prepares shipments based on customer-specific freight requirements.
  • • Applies careful judgment in packing and skidding products to ensure safe delivery to customers.
  • • Verifies the accuracy of all items packed against customer orders and ensures correct shipment data is recorded.
  • • Available to work overtime as needed on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications:

  • • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • • 0-1 year of experience in shipping and logistics.
  • • Proficient in reading and writing English, following verbal instructions, and performing basic math.
  • • Willingness to learn to operate stockroom equipment such as order pickers and pallet jacks.
  • • A team-oriented individual who can effectively engage with internal departments.
  • • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • • Good data entry skills with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • • Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. (may vary based on shipment).
  • • Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility.
