Key Responsibilities- Member Services: Respond to member and guest needs, promote memberships and programs, and provide direct instruction and support to participants.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants, contributing to member retention and satisfaction.
- Membership Sales: Conduct interviews and/or tours responsive to the needs of prospective members, sell memberships, and promote the benefits of membership.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Communication: Develop and maintain positive relationships with volunteers, members, program participants, and colleagues, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service, sales, or related experience preferred.
- Skills: Effective communication skills, excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people, and basic knowledge of computers.
- Certifications: Must hold and maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications prior to employment, and obtain YMCA Member Service Trainings within 60 days of employment.
