The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant to join our team at one of our offices focused on serving our Senior Health member population (age 65+). As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide best-in-class venipuncture services for patients of all ages
  • Assist with extended scope duties, including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Perform dispensary responsibilities, including verifying counts, maintaining inventory, placing orders, receiving and stocking, filling, packaging, and labeling prescriptions for patient pick-up
  • Continuously care for our members beyond the lab room by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting our providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties
  • Use impeccable C-I-CARE skills in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid and positive in-office experience
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (additional experience with remote teams a plus)
