Job Title: Senior Behavioral Health Nurse

Mercy Hospital Ardmore is seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Senior Behavioral Health Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role:

This is a full-time night shift position, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and assistance with activities of daily living
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient goals and preferences
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education to patients and their families on disease management, medication, and self-care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN licensure in the state of hire
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
