Job Summary

Mercy Hospital Ardmore is seeking a skilled RN to join our Senior Behavioral Health Unit as a Senior Behavioral Health Nurse. This is a full-time position working nights, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role

The Senior Behavioral Health Unit at Mercy Ardmore is a 13-bed locked unit that provides care to senior patients with diagnosed psychiatric disorders. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to senior patients with psychiatric disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Participate in group therapy and individual counseling sessions
  • Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as needed

Requirements

  • Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
