Your Role
As a key member of our culinary team, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to create innovative and delectable dishes. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Resolving issues creatively and effectively.
  • Training and mentoring kitchen staff while managing schedules.
  • Participating in the hiring process and evaluating employee performance.
  • Ensuring quality control of food items and managing inventory.
  • Maintaining budgeted labor costs and overseeing overtime.
  • Guaranteeing timely food production to meet service standards.
  • Engaging in service education and training for all staff.
  • Contributing to the restaurant's financial goals while upholding food quality.
  • Supervising cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.

What You Bring
We seek candidates with a minimum of 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume, full-service environment, or equivalent education. A Bachelor's degree in Culinary Science or a related field is preferred. You should possess:
  • A flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.
  • A strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and industry standards.
  • Excellent knife skills and a collaborative leadership style.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to build positive relationships.
