Music Sales and Lessons Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement and Lesson Coordination:
    • Welcome and assist customers with a warm and professional demeanor.
    • Assess customer inquiries, understand their musical goals, and provide tailored recommendations for lessons.
    • Coordinate and schedule music lessons with our team of skilled instructors.
    • Communicate effectively with instructors, students, and parents to ensure smooth lesson execution.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our musical instruments, accessories, and lesson offerings.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and new arrivals to provide expert guidance to customers and potential students.
  • Sales and Promotion:
    • Proactively engage with customers to identify sales opportunities for music lessons.
    • Promote and upsell lesson packages, classes, and workshops to potential students and parents.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Cash and Point of Service Handling:
    • Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash, and maintain meticulous records.
    • Coordinate payments for music lessons, ensuring timely processing.
  • Visual Merchandising:
    • Contribute to maintaining an organized and visually appealing store layout.
    • Assist in inventory management and restocking to ensure the availability of music lesson materials.
  • Customer Support and Development:
    • Address customer inquiries related to music lessons promptly and professionally.
    • Resolve concerns or issues to the satisfaction of students and parents.
    • Utilize customer feedback to refine marketing strategies and enhance the music lesson experience.
  • Marketing and Events Coordination:
    • Assist in developing marketing campaigns through social media and digital channels.
    • Coordinate in-store events, workshops, and music lesson scheduling.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a positive work environment, and ensure seamless coordination of music lessons.
    • Participate in store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • A passion for music and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Basic understanding of musical instruments and equipment; technical knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Previous sales experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills for point-of-sale transactions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
