Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Services Specialist to join our team in providing vital support to individuals and families in need. As a key member of our social services team, you will work directly with clients to help them overcome complex challenges and improve their ability to function in society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct intervention with individuals and families to address complex problems in areas such as family services, adoption, adult services, and child welfare.
  • Work under general supervision to develop and implement effective work methods and sequences.
  • Collaborate with clients, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community partners to build trust and promote positive outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, policies, and best practices in family services and child welfare.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Sociology, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in family engagement, child development, or family-focused social work.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
