Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Family Restoration Services (FRS) is seeking a skilled Mental Health Outpatient Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist for Emotionally Disabled Youth, you will provide on-going assessment, crisis intervention, individual and family therapy, and case management to youth and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct crisis intervention and de-escalate crises with clients
- Assess the mental status of consumers and assist in formulating treatment plans and goals
- Perform case management services to assist clients in meeting their goals
- Refer clients to supportive services such as vocational, medical, and social services
- Advocate for consumers in various forums, including court systems and family settings
Requirements:
- Master's degree in the human services field from an accredited college or university
- One year of counseling experience with seriously emotionally disturbed youth and their families
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Family Restoration Services (FRS) provides an array of services to emotionally disabled youth requiring supportive services to stabilize in their own homes. FRS believes each child deserves an opportunity to be involved in something he/she enjoys, explore talents and dreams, and to gain passion for life and living through achieving excellence. FRS sets a standard for participation in various activities that allows youth access to social and recreational opportunities with same-age, non-disabled peers. Youth are escorted into natural settings with a therapeutic agent who experientially teaches discipline, self-control, respect for authority, positive peer relations, and lifesaving lessons only gained through these types of real-life experiences.
