Soliant Health is recognized for collaborating with some of the most esteemed healthcare institutions across the nation to provide interim pharmacy staffing solutions. We are currently seeking a qualified pharmacist to take on a contract role within a Wisconsin hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and oversee patient medication therapies and prescriptions for safety and effectiveness, taking into account individual patient conditions and health statuses.
  • Communicate with the patient care team regarding any concerns or potential improvements related to patient medication therapies, and document these interventions appropriately.
  • Prepare, label, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations regarding the dispensing of pharmaceuticals and the maintenance of necessary records.
  • Guarantee the availability of essential medications for patients, ensuring they are properly procured, prepared, stored, and maintained.
  • Supervise the activities of technical staff involved in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with medical and nursing personnel.
  • Provide timely information regarding pharmaceutical supplies, medication usage, and compatibility.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Pharmacist with the Wisconsin State Board of Pharmacy, in good standing.
  • Availability for full-time work is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of inpatient pharmacy experience is essential.
  • Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
