Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Manager to lead our team of professionals in providing exceptional patient care services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the radiology department, developing and implementing plans for patient care services, and overseeing the overall diagnostic imaging policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the radiology department, including scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Develop and implement plans for patient care services, including quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction programs.
  • Oversee the overall diagnostic imaging policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assess quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • Manage staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Oversee the monitoring of departmental budgets and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist General Certificate from the Texas Medical Board.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
