Lantronix is seeking a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and following up on leads with the goal of penetrating new customer target accounts. You will have the opportunity to nurture relationships with our existing customers and will be tasked with learning about customer buying cycles and how they use Lantronix products. In addition to managing new and existing leads and accounts, you will be an integral part of the sales team supporting the Regional Sales Director and Regional Sales Managers. You will be tasked with order quote and opportunity management and follow through. Keeping organized in the sales process to ensure our customers are receiving the best possible experience. This job will require the ability to adapt to growing the future of the company via best practices and revenue related engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Drive closure of leads generated from marketing activities. Report ROI for lead campaigns including number of opportunities open or won from follow up efforts
  • Sell the company's portfolio (products and services) to customer and prospects
  • Increase the number of qualified customers testing Lantronix products, maintain communication with customers that have initiated qualification of Lantronix products, report quarterly number of evals started and ensure sales is maintaining the eval dates in
  • Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Work with sales team to develop a target account list for Lantronix focus products, call customers, and coordinate a conference call or face to face meeting for Regional Sales Managers
  • Maintain opportunities and pipeline through Salesforce
  • Manage inside sales mailbox and inquires
  • Assist with backlog and shipments reports to ensure accurate forecast data is captured
  • Respond to order inquiry questions within region
  • Keep close communication with customer through shipping and tracking
  • Work with Lantronix scheduling department on pull in's and push out's
  • Upsell services and be proactive in ensuring recurring customer renewals for services

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Inside Sales or Sales experience
  • Order processing experience
  • Easily adaptable to changes with a growth mindset
  • Ability to identify and work through issues before they develop
  • Focus on follow up through the sales process
  • Excel and pivot table experience a plus
  • Channel Sales (understanding the Distribution & Reseller channel) is a plus
  • Must be comfortable using the phone or other conferencing tools to build relationships with customers
  • Must be highly organized and proactive in completing work and solving problems and checking for complete accuracy
