About the Role

FSA is seeking a highly skilled Records Examiner/Analyst to support our Asset Forfeiture Program. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in reviewing and evaluating data and information from multiple sources, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of received data, and resolving inconsistencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Review and Evaluation: Review and evaluate data and information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter required data into one or more databases, documents, or spreadsheets, and manage validation and verification of case files and case data system.
  • Case File Management: Create case/project files, keep track of case file status to confirm compliance with established deadlines, and manage requests for additional information as needed.
  • Information Preparation: Select relevant information from a variety of sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper format of the information provided.
  • Reporting and Correspondence: Prepare and modify reports and correspondence using word processing software, and provide accurate and timely status updates.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree, or High School Diploma/GED and two-years' experience, with one-year experience in asset forfeiture or a field related to law enforcement.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to grasp and understand the organization and functions of the customer, demonstratable project and workload management skills, excellent communication skills, oral and written, and competence to review, interpret, evaluate, and extract data and information from complex legal and non-legal documents.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate skills with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications, advanced skills preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Proven commitment and expertise to provide excellent customer service, positive and flexible, and ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition.
