Account Representative

At BB BHF STORES LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Account Representative to join our team. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections and revenue standards are met. You will also perform inside sales and outside collections, maintain the appearance of our showroom, and take primary responsibility for delivery and pickup of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain customers through effective communication and relationship-building
  • Perform basic furniture, appliance, and home electronic installation and removal
  • Comply with all company vehicle safety standards and documentation
  • Manage customer payments and data entry in our VersiRent computer program
  • Fill out receipt books and make journal entries
  • Handle inbound and outbound service calls
  • Make deliveries or collect merchandise
  • Sales and merchandising, and other duties as assigned by store management

Requirements:

  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Ability to drive during day and night, meeting all safety requirements
  • Ability to explain terms of rental/lease agreement to customers
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in person and over the telephone
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Proficiency in product features and benefits, and ability to work on the showroom floor
  • Proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements
  • Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise
  • Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching, and grabbing as required
  • Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics
  • Prolonged driving and standing
  • Ability to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions
