Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day culinary operations at one or more of our schools.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing culinary operations, including supervising hourly kitchen staff and providing culinary training.
- Ensure that culinary standards are met, including recipe development, presentation, and food quality control.
- Assist in planning and creating menus, as well as executing catering events.
- Manage cost controls and expenditures for the account.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
- 1-3 years of culinary management experience.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
- Hands-on chef experience is required.
- Extensive catering experience is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- ServSafe Certification is preferred.
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel.
- Associates degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
