The Program Manager will guarantee that the project achieves its goals related to asset management, work management, and other critical modules while adhering to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the comprehensive implementation of IBM Maximo MAS throughout the organization.
- Craft and uphold the program roadmap, ensuring it aligns with strategic business objectives.
- Manage multiple IT workstreams, including asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory modules.
- Act as the primary liaison for the integration partner and other external vendors.
- Ensure that third-party vendors fulfill all contractual obligations, deliverables, and timelines.
- Coordinate with the integration partner to effectively manage resources, budgets, and schedules.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the utilities sector, including operations, finance, and IT departments.
- Facilitate regular communication and reporting to senior leadership regarding program status, risks, and issues.
- Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned with the program's objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks that could affect the project's success.
- Maintain a risk register and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of all costs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and the integration partner to allocate resources efficiently.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure that deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the smooth adoption of IBM Maximo MAS across the organization.
- Design training programs and materials to support end-user adoption.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and address any issues related to change management.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership and the project steering committee.
- Ensure all project documentation is stored and managed in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in IT Project/Program management, with a minimum of 3 years managing large-scale enterprise implementations within the public or utilities sector.
- Demonstrated experience with IBM Maximo MAS, including modules such as asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory.
- Strong understanding of utilities industry processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in managing third-party vendors and integration partners.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on delivering solutions that meet business needs.
Travel Requirements:
- This position may necessitate occasional travel to project sites (up to 20%).
