Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the comprehensive implementation of IBM Maximo MAS throughout the organization.
  • Craft and uphold the program roadmap, ensuring it aligns with strategic business objectives.
  • Manage multiple IT workstreams, including asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory modules.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the integration partner and other external vendors.
  • Ensure that third-party vendors fulfill all contractual obligations, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the integration partner to effectively manage resources, budgets, and schedules.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the utilities sector, including operations, finance, and IT departments.
  • Facilitate regular communication and reporting to senior leadership regarding program status, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned with the program's objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks that could affect the project's success.
  • Maintain a risk register and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of all costs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and the integration partner to allocate resources efficiently.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure that deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the smooth adoption of IBM Maximo MAS across the organization.
  • Design training programs and materials to support end-user adoption.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and address any issues related to change management.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and the project steering committee.
  • Ensure all project documentation is stored and managed in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in IT Project/Program management, with a minimum of 3 years managing large-scale enterprise implementations within the public or utilities sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with IBM Maximo MAS, including modules such as asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory.
  • Strong understanding of utilities industry processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and integration partners.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on delivering solutions that meet business needs.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position may necessitate occasional travel to project sites (up to 20%).
