Federal Grants Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Grants Manager to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing federal grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with Uniform Guidance and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-Cycle Federal and Non-Federal Grants Management Services: Collaborate with internal customers to manage full-life-cycle inbound awards, including proposal budget creation, award budget monitoring, and expense reimbursement services.
  • Subrecipient Grants and Contracts Management Services: Design, implement, and manage a compliance-focused subrecipient monitoring process, leading the subrecipient cost reimbursement review and payment process.
  • Procurement, Contracting, and Payment Services: Assist in the design, implementation, and management of an end-to-end full-service procurement and contracting process, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
  • Component and Cost Center Budgeting, Monitoring, Reporting, and Analysis Services: Assist in preparing annual zero-based bottom-up revenue, expense, and capital budgets for each component and related cost centers.
  • Operational and Administrative Services: Provide ongoing training, technical assistance, and advice on federal and non-federal grant compliance and management, as well as assist with funder-requested audits and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • 5 years of non-profit accounting experience, including familiarity with single audits and other funder-imposed audits and compliance examinations.
  • 5 years of federal and non-federal grants management and Uniform Guidance compliance experience.
  • 5 years of contracts and procurement experience in a comparable shared-services role with complex, fast-paced, and performance-driven nonprofit organizations.
  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 10%).
  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the Latino community.
