Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations within our organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring that all machinery and equipment function efficiently while upholding a safe and operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily functions of the maintenance department.
  • Assess systems or facilities to identify necessary maintenance or repairs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance protocols and ensure adherence.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and address issues.
  • Supervise all repair and installation projects.
  • Monitor expenses and oversee the maintenance budget.
  • Lead maintenance personnel and distribute workloads effectively, providing training as needed.
  • Foster positive working relationships within the department and across other departments to create a collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to revise preventative maintenance and repair schedules as required.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage partnerships with contractors and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, addressing unsafe conditions and conducting investigations as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a maintenance manager or in a comparable position.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to identify maintenance needs and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Capability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
  • Strong management and supervisory skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
Educational Background:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in business administration or facility management is advantageous.
