We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our prestigious 12-month Ambulatory Nurse Residency Program at UW Health.
The program is designed to help new graduate nurses transition confidently into practice, providing a comprehensive orientation and mentoring by experienced preceptors and clinical nurse specialists.
As an Ambulatory Nurse Resident, you will participate in twice-monthly classes with your cohort, meeting with clinical experts and problem-solving clinical challenges. You will also have the opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary team, providing patient-centered care throughout all stages of patient care.
The program includes:
- Telephone triage and growing telehealth opportunities
- Medication administration, treatments, testing, and patient/family education
- A high degree of independence and critical thinking
