Job Description
The Business Systems Administrator will play a critical role in supporting our business systems, including Sage X3 ERP and Korber Warehouse Advantage WMS. This position requires a highly skilled individual with experience managing business processes using an ERP or WMS application, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Support and Troubleshoot Business Systems: Provide timely and effective support for business systems, resolving technical and data issues promptly and communicating with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Monitor integration points, resolve issues, and understand overall application architectures to maintain data integrity.
- Support Data Exchanges: Assist with EDI, imports, exports, APIs, and other data exchanges with internal and external customers, resolving operational issues and testing new trading partners.
- Assist with System Implementations: Participate in modification testing and new site implementations, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Train and Educate Users: Provide business system training and educate users across departments on workflow and process requirements.
- Maintain User Access: Manage team member access and onboard new users, ensuring they have the necessary permissions and training.
- Report Metrics and Recommend Improvements: Track and report business system support metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement and recommending potential changes.
- Data Management and Governance: Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data across business systems.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain relationships with internal customers, providing superior customer service to system users.
Requirements
- Degree and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline, and 3-5 years' experience managing business processes using an ERP or WMS application, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of common business processes, including customer service, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, receiving, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, as well as proven analytical skills and ability to solve problems creatively.
- Communication Skills: Effective communicator able to communicate with technical and non-technical team members to collaborate on issue identification and resolution.
