Position Overview

As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, plan, script, and execute software test automation for various essential customer-facing and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to create and implement automated test scripts. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assessing and defining testing requirements, including the choice between white, black, and gray box testing methodologies.
  • Maximizing test coverage for critical system features.
  • Prioritizing test scenarios and developing execution plans for their implementation.
  • Creating automation scripts concurrently with the development of new features and user stories.
  • Conducting exploratory and manual testing for complex features and scenarios not covered by automation.
  • Documenting automated processes, including test plans, procedures, and cases.
  • Tracking and escalating issues as necessary, utilizing JIRA.
  • Designing testing programs that encompass database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability assessments.
  • Establishing and executing strategies for performance testing automation.
  • Providing support during application production deployments and conducting validation testing.
  • Continuously enhancing processes and tools for automation.
  • Collaborating with DevOps Engineers to improve the Continuous Integration pipeline.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an automation test engineer.
  • 3 years of experience working within an agile framework.
  • 2 years of experience in writing automation scripts using common programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • 3 years of experience testing REST or SOAP APIs.
  • 3 years of experience with GUI/Web Automation Testing Tools, such as Selenium.
  • 2 years of experience in performance testing using tools like LoadRunner.
  • 2 years of experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with BDD automation frameworks is a plus.
