Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software solutions. This position reports directly to the QA or Test Automation Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex projects to successful completion with accountability.
  • Utilize independent judgment to make informed decisions.
  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans and automated testing scripts.
  • Evaluate and enhance the scalability, performance, and efficiency of our testing processes.
  • Create innovative solutions to facilitate automated testing.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to management based on analysis.
  • Mentor and guide fellow engineers in best practices.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for automated testing across various levels (End to End, Integration, UI, etc.).
  • Spot areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support releases and address urgent issues.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and management teams regarding usability and suggested enhancements.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automated test engineer.
  • Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java.
  • Strong skills in MSSQL.
  • Thorough understanding of the application development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in QA Testing Techniques and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with advanced testing techniques, including stubbing and mocking.
  • Experience with source control systems (GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and/or Cypress.
  • Advanced experience in testing REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman and Fiddler.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; equivalent certifications or relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • 1-2 years of experience in AI Testing (e.g., Anthropic, Vertex) is a plus.
