Job Description:

In DaVita Inc., we are seeking a Patient Care Specialist who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

About the Job:

  • Direct Patient Care: Provide safe and comfortable dialysis treatment to multiple patients per day.
  • Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
  • Education and Support: Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics and provide emotional support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including 12+ hour shifts, on your feet
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $43,000 - $53,000 per year (estimated salary range)
