Position Overview

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is in search of a Senior Software Developer with the capability to operate independently, without reliance on junior personnel. The ideal candidate must possess Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and hold a Security+CE certification. While the certification is not mandatory at the outset, it is essential to secure it within 120 days of commencing employment. This role supports the 402d Software Engineering Group.

Work Environment

All responsibilities will be conducted on-site. This position does not allow for remote work. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional qualifications and experience, communicating effectively in both written and verbal formats. Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and innovative thinking in a dynamic setting are crucial.

Flexible Work Schedule

  • Facilities operate from 6 AM to 6 PM, allowing collaboration with leadership to establish working hours.
  • Flexibility in time management during the bi-weekly pay cycle is encouraged.
  • Compressed work schedules may be an option, subject to work center leadership approval.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer/Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years in software development.
  • Security+ CE certification is required within 120 days of employment.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with three or more of the following methodologies: DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Agile Software Development, Full Stack Development, Cloud-Based Design/Development, Containerization, Git, and Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Expected to perform at a Senior/SME level with minimal assistance from junior staff.
