Position Overview

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is in search of a Senior Software Developer who can operate independently without the need for junior staff assistance. The ideal candidate must possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a Security+CE certification. While the certification is not mandatory at the start, it is essential to obtain it within 120 days of commencing the role. This position supports the 402d Software Engineering Group.

Work Environment

All tasks will be conducted on-site. This role does not offer remote work options. The selected candidates will be expected to demonstrate a high level of expertise and experience, effective communication skills (both written and verbal), strong interpersonal abilities, self-motivation, and creativity in a dynamic setting.

Work Schedule

  • Facilities operate from 6 AM to 6 PM, allowing flexibility in hours with customer leadership.
  • Flex time is available during the two-week pay cycle to accommodate appointments without using PTO.
  • A compressed work schedule may be an option, subject to work center leadership discretion.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer/Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of software development experience.
  • Security+ CE certification is required to be obtained within 120 days of starting.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with at least three of the following concepts: DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Agile Software Development, Full Stack Development, Cloud Design/Development, Containerization, Git, and Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform at a Senior/SME level with minimal assistance.
