Position Overview

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is in search of a Senior Software Developer who possesses the capability to operate independently without the support of junior personnel. This role mandates that the candidate holds a Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility and a Security+CE certification. While the Security+CE certification is not a prerequisite for commencing employment, it is essential for the candidate to secure this certification within 120 days of their start date.

Project Context

This position supports the 402d Software Engineering Group. All responsibilities will be executed on-site, and this role does not offer remote work options. Ideal candidates will demonstrate extensive qualifications and experience, communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, and exhibit strong interpersonal abilities. A self-driven and innovative mindset is crucial in this dynamic environment.

Work Schedule

  • Facilities operate from 6am to 6pm, allowing flexibility in setting hours with customer leadership.
  • Flex time is permitted during the two-week pay cycle to minimize the use of PTO for appointments.
  • A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership.

Qualifications

  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer/Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years in software development.
  • Security+ CE certification required within 120 days of employment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with three or more of the following concepts: DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Agile Software Development, Full Stack Development, Cloud-Based Design/Development, Containerization, Git, Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Ability to perform at a Senior/SME level with minimal assistance from junior staff.
