Job Summary

Granite State Gastroenterology seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Professional to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer patient calls in a timely and courteous manner, scheduling appointments and ensuring accurate billing information.
  • Utilize the Athena System to manage patient schedules, registration, and billing.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned, including data entry, filing, and mail distribution.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in a physician practice setting preferred.
  • Strong focus on patient satisfaction and quality care.
  • Proficiency in using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
