Position Overview
This role involves collaboration with fellow RH2 team members in the planning, design, and oversight of construction for projects related to water resources, including wastewater management, irrigation systems, stormwater management, and transportation infrastructure.

Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a meticulous professional with 4-12 years of experience in project engineering who excels in critical thinking to address intricate challenges. The ideal candidate enjoys working within a team-oriented environment, delivering outstanding client service, managing a varied workload, and producing technically precise deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead design initiatives and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Take on project management responsibilities for smaller projects.
• Engage directly with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Provide engineering and marketing support across a range of projects.
• Mentor and guide Engineers-In-Training (EIT) or junior engineers.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or equivalent experience and training.
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, preferably in public sector consulting.
• Strong preference for experience in planning and designing water and/or wastewater projects, including pipelines, collection systems, pump stations, storage tanks, and treatment facilities.
• Ability to support projects from the design phase through to construction.
• Familiarity with local and regional design standards and the ability to apply these standards in design and analysis.
• Experience in coordinating with other engineers and permitting agencies, as well as interacting with clients.
• Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Idaho.

Compensation
Compensation will vary within the range of $41.00-$56.00 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience relevant to this position. RH2 values work/life balance and compensates for overtime hours exceeding 40 in a work week.
