Key Responsibilities

From your EXPERTISE to ours

  • Oversee and direct projects to guarantee effective production techniques and workflows, maximizing the use of space and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the plant manager, maintenance teams, quality assurance, safety, and other departments to ensure that projects align with operational needs.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of dairy, equipment, and processes relevant to the company, consistently updating expertise to remain informed on industry advancements.
  • Actively participate as a member of the plant management team, providing necessary support for various plant functions as determined by the plant manager.
  • Assess the maintenance department's capabilities concerning equipment, tools, and other essentials to ensure satisfactory service levels.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of plant regulations and encourage high-quality personnel performance.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with purchasing, suppliers, and vendors regarding equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct design work, including data research, feasibility studies, and establishing design criteria in accordance with required standards for assigned projects.
  • Maintain accurate and current project documentation and drawings, identifying and rectifying safety, ergonomic, and operational issues through effective equipment design.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions, manuals, and procedures in various formats, including written, oral, diagrammatic, and scheduling forms.
  • Execute administrative managerial tasks accurately, promptly, and professionally.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical/Engineering preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an engineering project management role.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD.

Additional Experience:

  • Preferred experience in dairy or other food-related sectors.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex projects and installations.
