The Maintenance Intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing Routine Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks primarily focused on packaging lines to ensure optimal performance.
- Updating Utility Layouts: Revise and maintain the piping layout for all plant utilities, including Air, Water, Steam, and Condensates.
- Revising P&ID Documentation: Update the current Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams to support new projects and identify any process issues.
- CAD Updates: Modify and enhance CAD drawings as necessary.
- Additional Maintenance Projects: Engage in various maintenance-related projects based on the evolving needs of the facility.
Educational Opportunity: There is potential for earning partial lab-based college credit, subject to approval from the educational institution.
Internship Duration: This internship is designed to last between 6 to 12 months, requiring a commitment of 8 to 16 hours per week, preferably during weekends.
QualificationsApplicants must be current students enrolled in a technical program.
